With their upcoming tour billed as their last run of date before ‘returning to fiction’ in preparation for the all important second album, The Moonlandingz have today announced somewhat of a homecoming finale show. Their return to Sheffield’s Leadmill on Saturday December 16th will likely be their last for a while, and perhaps their best yet?
Formed by the Eccentronic Research Council, the semi-fictional totally-life changing band have created a reputation like no other. Their debut album Interplanetary Class Classics is one of our favourites of the year, in many ways the most important release of the decade so far.
They have already tapped into a mesmerising live sound which has left festival crowds in awe over the summer, their Glastonbury Park Stage debut was stunning if not a little controversial. Their Sheffield return brings a close a year which has seen them gain strong industry support and an ever growing fan base to match.
The coming months sees them play some of their largest venues to date including Manchester Ritz and Electric Brixton. The tour also stops by famous musical cities such as Glasgow, Leeds and Bristol. However, it is their Sheffield Leadmill homecoming show/ unplanned Christmas extravaganza which has the potential to be the best of all.
Expect it to be bigger than the resurection, The Moonlandingz are far more interesting than biblical myth!
