Lollapalooza is one of the most iconic strands of festivals, its name has been everywhere from the USA to Europe. Next year’s Paris edition is already looking something quite spectacular, 37 names have today been announced.
With Depeche Mode, The Killers and Gorillaz being today announced as headliners, it seems as though the Parisian festival has taken to another level this time around. British favourites such as Kasabian, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Stereophonics also make up the higher echelons of the event making sure that there is something for everyone.
More genre specific names such as Travis Scott, Diplo and Axwell & Ingrosso bring musical diversity to an already impressive line up which features everything from techno, classic rock and indie to rap and dance. Paris is a hotbed of musical appreciation, arguably there is no better city in the world to visit such an intriguing festival.
Whilst Lollapalooza has existed in many forms over the past few decades, its Parisian residency debuted just last summer. The first line up was spectacular, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lana Del Rey and Liam Gallagher all featured at some point across the weekend. The Hives, Alt-J and London Grammar added to a very much British/American themed weekend.
This time there is far more French and European involvement in a star studded line up which takes place within the famous Hippodrome de Longchamp racecourse grounds.
The festival takes place of 21-22nd July 2018, tickets are available via the link below:
