In The Tune is an ever-growing promotions brand now springing up across the country. It returns to Nottingham’s Chameleon Arts Cafe on October 3rd with False Heads headlining the night. Support comes from Youth Hotel and Luna Rosa.
False Heads are currently in the form of their lives and return to Nottingham for their second In The Tune event. Currently embarked upon a European wide tour in support of upcoming EP Less Is Better, they can boast having Iggy Pop as a fan. Their regular outings on his BBC Radio 6 show prove they are something quite special.
The London based band have supported the likes of The Libertines, Josh Homme and Frank Turner and are eclipsed by a cloud of industry support ranging between This Feeling, Clash Magazine, Radio X and Sirius XM. Their recent single ‘Yellow’ is worth looking out for, written in a rehearsal container and destined for the larger festival stages.
Support on the night comes from Youth Hotel, an impressive Nottingham indie five-piece. Forming late summer 2017 they have gone from strength to strength. Tracks such as ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ and ‘Candyflip’ prove this. With a debut EP in the pipeline, the band can claim BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson as a fan.
Luna Rosa open the night, an alternative/psych/indie four-piece hailing from Northamptonshire. Formed in 2014, they have racked up over 200 gigs and have a relentless desire to tour. Brash, exciting and raucous, their live shows is worth looking out for.
In The Tune is an indie rock ’n’ roll night featuring live bands and DJ’s until late. Formed in the heart of London, it has expanded rapidly to cities such as Nottingham, Guildford and Manchester. Every gig counts at In The Tune. With the likes of False Heads, SPINN, Brown Lion Zoo and Babe Punch in their alumni, they clearly have something special going on!
